Designed with the same free-pivoting, ice-free concept as Voile's original Switchback Binding, the Switchback X2 features a longer toe plate for greater contact with your boot and stiffer cartridge springs for extra control when driving those big powder skis.

With all that tech, you'd expect to pay a weight penalty, but Voile Managed to keep it around 3.2 pounds per pair, which makes it the lightest AT tele binder around.

  • Steel toe plates are almost 3cm longer than the original Switchaback to provide more contact with your boot and better energy transfer for steep lines
  • Separate tour and ski mode enables you to tour with zero heel resistance and then then switch back into ski mode to rip the descent
  • Redesigned cartridge springs increase stiffness by 25-percent over the original Switchback
  • Enclosed design helps eliminate ice build-up
  • Dual-height heel elevators help conserve energy on the up-track by delivering either 65- or 100mm of rise
  • Short Rod fits boot size 24-26.5(Mondo Point)
  • Standard Rod fits boot size 27-31(Mondo Point)
